How JSM Coaching Collects This Information?
This personal information is collected through contact forms, as well as signing up as a member, through the JSM Coaching website. We will only ever request information we believe is relevant. For instance, your home address is not an option available on this site, as we do not sell physical items to clients, so we do not request such information.
Why does JSM Coaching Collect this Personal Information?
This information is collected to provide customer support, marketing, and for points of reference in coaching materials (I.e. The Player Profile).
Customer Support: To ensure a child has the best possible experience with us, we require their basic information so that we can place them in the correct group and so coaches can factor in their playing experience when creating session plans. This allows us to cater to their needs and not overwhelm them with concepts and session beyond their current capabilities. This will also go some way to provide parents peace of mind, seeing their child developing in the correct group, and focusing on skills suitable to them.
Marketing: To further market JSM Coaching to a wider audience, we would like to use player footage (photograph or video) on the website so that prospective parents / adult / child can see the ability players are able to showcase with us. We hope it will encourage player interest, leading to player retention. However, this is completely optional and will never be required.
JSM Coaching also clearly has the option listed on forms, so that parents are made aware early in the process. In the unlikely event that no option is selected, due to a bug or glitch, we will assume the child is not to be filmed, as a means of precaution. Any child that is not authorised to be filmed will not be filmed.
Coaching Materials: A player’s personal information will also be collected to fill in the required sections of the Player Profile. This information will form the basis of a baseline, to understand the player’s age, playing experience, etc. This information will contribute to session planning, ensuring the player receives the appropriate training difficulty, with progressions and regressions factored into the planning.
