Accessibility statement for JSM Coaching

This accessibility statement applies to the JSM Coaching website and organisation, as well as all our practice out on the field.

The website has been checked against many accessibility prognosis tools, such as the accessibility wizard, with many failure criteria’s being altered to ensure disabled users can navigate our website, free of issues. The accessibility wizard prompted 73 issues, upon first analysis, and that number has been reduced to 28, and will continue to fall. Most issues were based on colour contrast and page formatting, with many having been rectified already.

This website is run by Joshua Mangan of JSM Coaching, obtained and built through Wix. To ensure as many people as possible can view and navigate this website, we have made the website text simple to understand, with many points being in short form text.

How Accessible is JSM Coaching’s website?

To be clear, the site is still being worked on, and there will be several issues to iron out as I familiarise myself with both the website and the tools. A search engine was implemented early on; however, it did not allow access to every service available, so has been removed, in order to tinker and fix it. I hope to have it up and running soon, thereby allowing disabled users to navigate our site through keyboard alone.

We know some parts of this website are not fully accessible:

  • You cannot modify the line height or spacing of text

  • Most older PDF documents are not fully accessible to screen reader software

  • Animation and Video formats do not have captions

  • The colour contrast on some pages will cause issue to disabled users

  • You cannot skip to the main content when using a screen reader

  • There’s a limit to how far you can magnify the map on our ‘locations' page

Enforcement procedure

The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) is responsible for enforcing the Public Sector Bodies (Mobile and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018 (the ‘accessibility regulations’). If you’re not happy with how we respond to your complaint, contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS)

Technical information about this website’s accessibility

JSM Coaching is committed to making its website accessible, in accordance with the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018.

Compliance status

The website has been tested against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standard and found to be fully compliant.

PDFs and other documents

The accessibility regulations do not require us to fix PDFs or other documents published before 23 September 2018 if they’re not essential to providing our services. For example, we do not plan to fix the animation videos found in the ‘Session Plan’ section of the website, as they are important tools for players to use and access.

Any new PDFs or Word documents we publish will meet accessibility standards.

Live video

We do not plan to add captions to live video streams because live video is exempt from meeting the accessibility regulations.

Recorded material will have captions, after the fact, to highlight key points and technical information.

What we’re doing to improve accessibility

Accessibility will be continually analysed and updated to fulfil the needs of those that access our content, whether as client or visitor. We also take accessibility queries seriously and will seek to resolve the issue promptly.

Preparation of this accessibility statement

This statement was prepared on the 19th of May 2026. It was last reviewed on the 20th of May 2026. Unless queried, the next review of our accessibility statement will take place on the 20th of November 2026, an exact 6 months since publication.

This website was last tested on the 19th of May 2026 against the WCAG 2.2 AA standard.

Self-assessment was completed through a prognosis tool known as the Accessibility Wizard, which identified key areas in need of fixing. All issues were fixed in accordance with the findings of this tool.

The test was carried out by Joshua Mangan. The most viewed pages were tested using automated testing tools by our website team. A further audit of the website was carried out to the WCAG 2.2 AA standard.
